     DO I NEED TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES?

    No. For eligible European Union destinations, we take care of customs duties and import charges, so there are no additional customs fees to pay after ordering.

    Certain locations, including Cyprus, Malta, the Canary Islands, French Islands and other non-mainland European territories, are quoted individually.

    DO I NEED TO COMPLETE IMPORT PAPERWORK?

    No. European customers do not need to complete import paperwork.

    We have designed the process to be as simple and straightforward as possible.

    CAN I ORDER WHOLESALE PRODUCTS IN EUROS?

    Yes. Our European website allows customers to browse and purchase wholesale products in euros.

     

    DO I NEED AN EORI NUMBER?

    In most cases, European customers ordering through our European website do not need an EORI number to place an order.

    If you have a specific question relating to your business, please contact our customer care team.

     

     DO YOU SUPPORT VOLUME ORDERS AND LARGER ACCOUNTS?

    We are strictly a trade only website and do not sell to the general public.

    To purchase with us, you must be a registered business and be purchasing stock to resell, not buying products for personal use.

    HOW DO I SEE YOUR PRICES?

    To view our prices, you will need to register your details or sign in to your existing account.

    All prices listed on the website are for one item unless otherwise stated.

     

    HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

    The simplest way to place an order is via our European website.

    Our website is easy to use and is updated frequently with new and upcoming products.

    HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

    We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Visa Debit and Mastercard. Additional payment options may be available at checkout depending on your country.

    All online card payments are securely processed. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored by us.

    Account customers should pay using the bank details shown on their invoice. European orders are invoiced by Something Different Europe B.V. 

     

    WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

    Most European orders are delivered within approximately 3–7 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, courier service and order requirements. Please click here for full delivery details.

     

    WHAT COURIERS DO YOU USE?

    European orders are delivered by our trusted courier partners. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where available.

    All required commercial and customs paperwork is managed as part of the ordering process, and European customers do not need to complete import paperwork themselves.

     

    WHERE DO I VIEW NEW PRODUCTS?

    Our website is updated continuously, so it is worth checking regularly to see what is new and back in stock.

    You can also view our latest product ranges in our catalogue.

     

    WHEN WILL AN ITEM BE BACK IN STOCK?

    Many products on our website feature convenient stock due dates. To view these, sign in to your account and look for the due date under the product.

    We also encourage customers to click the “Notify” button to be emailed as soon as a product is available to order.

    Please note that stock due dates are approximate and are subject to change.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK?

    If a product on your order becomes out of stock, the product will be removed from your order and you will not be charged for that item.

    Your email address may be added to an automated notification so you are updated when the product is back in stock and available to order.

     

    WILL YOU PUT MY OUT OF STOCKS ON A BACK ORDER?

    If you wish to place a back order for an item, we require a minimum value of €50 for that particular line.

    Once the stock is available, we will automatically send this out at the earliest opportunity and take payment from your previously used payment method. We regret that we cannot take back orders for single out of stock lines under €50.

     

    DO YOU OFFER BESPOKE DESIGNS?

    Yes, we can discuss bespoke design opportunities for larger projects. Bespoke designs are subject to minimum order quantities.

    DO YOU OFFER EXCLUSIVITY?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exclusivity due to our large customer base and ever-changing product catalogue.

     

    HOW DO PROMO CODES WORK?

    We frequently offer special promotional codes to help save you money. Promo codes can be applied in the basket where available.

    Promo Terms & Conditions:

    Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless clearly stated.

    Promotions are only valid during the time period shown in the promotional messaging. Orders placed outside of the promotional period cannot be amended to include the promotion.

    WHAT IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED OR MISSING FROM MY ORDER?

    Damaged, missing or incorrect items must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order.

    HOW DO I USE A CREDIT NOTE WITH MY ORDER?

    Credit notes are not automatically deducted from your order total.

    If you would like to use a credit note with your order, please specify this in the Additional Notes section of the online basket. We will adjust the total manually before taking payment.

    Please note we only keep credit notes active for 3 months.

     

    CAN I USE YOUR IMAGES?

    Yes. We are happy for customers to use product images from the Something Different website, but we encourage customers to take their own creative images where possible to fit their brand and stand out.

    Please note that our logos, branding and lifestyle images are copyright to Something Different.

     

    DO YOU OFFER LIVE STOCK FEEDS?

    Yes. We offer stock feeds and image feeds that are free and easy to download.

    You can also view available stock levels on individual product pages throughout the website.

    ARE YOUR PRODUCTS AVAILABLE ON B2B MARKETPLACES?

    Yes. Our products are available on selected wholesale B2B marketplaces including Faire, Ankorstore and Creoate.

     

    WHAT ARE RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICES?

    The price that you choose to retail your items at depends on your market, overheads and competition. However, many retailers use the general guide of multiplying the wholesale price excluding VAT by 2.4.

    For example, if you buy an item for €1.25 excluding VAT, you may choose to retail that item at around €2.99.

    OIL BURNER AND CANDLE SAFETY INFORMATION

    At Something Different, we supply a large variety of candle holders and oil burners. All of our products come with standard safety warnings that we advise customers to follow at all times.

    Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn out of the reach of children and pets. Always place a burning candle or oil burner on a suitable surface away from flammable objects. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions on candles. Remove all packaging before use. Please take care when moving an oil burner or candle holder as these may get hot while in use. Leave sufficient time for the product to cool down.
