Our Story

From South Wales to Retailers Worldwide

Something Different Wholesale was founded by Jane Wallace-Jones and has grown from a local business into an international wholesale supplier.

The beginning Jane began selling distinctive gifts at car boot sales and local markets across South Wales.
1999 After identifying an opportunity to supply other retailers, Jane opened a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in Baglan.
Online from the start Something Different became an early adopter of online wholesale, launching one of the sector's first ecommerce websites in 1999.
Today Our headquarters, creative teams and major distribution centre are based in Swansea, Wales. We supply wholesale gifts and home accessories to independent retailers, multi-site businesses, national groups and distributors across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
